The Figure

I have always loved to draw the figure. This sample of drawings is a small representation of 100′s of drawings over the past three-four years. Some are very layered while others are simple representations of the human form. Regardless, they are all studies. I believe it is better, far better, to study the figure than to draw it.

I’ve have recently added some ‘long lost’ drawings from the late 70′s and early 80′s. They are good reminders of how my drawing has evolved. These drawing appear at the bottom of the page.
