This selection of imagery traces the evolution of the performances from their inception with Bad Lies in 1997 to Playing Through (Harlem) in 1999. The Former Black Militant Golf and Country Club grew from those two pieces as did the notion of Arthur Negro (Black Revolutionary Golfing Militant). In 2007, with a grant from Art Matters I performed Arthur Negro and From Harlem to Hanoi. This piece was performed in the streets throughout Harlem and Hanoi, Vietnam.
